The Bennett Residence is a remodeling of a Georgian townhouse with a very small second floor addition looking into both the front entry courtyard, as well as the private rear courtyard and swimming pool. The site is a series of charming brick townhouses with private courtyards providing the privacy and green space appropriate for urban living in Dallas. We continued the existing language of the façade primarily through its proportions, window typology, and detailing. The small TV room connects with differently scaled windows in opposite directions while continuing the interior millwork and materials.
